CashShield is proud to be one of the selected finalists to present at last Friday’s Tech for Integrity Challenge (T4I), an innovation challenge to source solutions that promote integrity, accountability and transparency in the public sector. The initiative was led by Citi in collaboration with organisations such as Mastercard, Microsoft and various public sector allies. This year’s challenge saw over 1,000 submissions across more than 70 countries.

Our co-founder Junxian Lee shared how CashShield’s solution has effectively helped enterprises manage their risks from fraudulent payments and hostile account takeovers.

“The Citi T4I initiative presents an invaluable opportunity for cross-learning and meeting like-minded people,” said Junxian. “CashShield is not only proud to part of this initiative, but also an active actor to stop fraud in the ecosystem. With fraud risks growing at a much faster pace than before, enterprises recognize the need for a dedicated solution that enables them to focus on their core business without worrying about cyber crimes. Through T4I, we are happy to share with various industry how we are able to help merchants maximize revenue and minimize fraud.”

The judges at the competition include Mr Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief Fintech Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, representatives from MasterCard, Clifford Chance, LetsTalkPayments, Microsoft, PwC, the United Nations Development Programme Global Anti-Corruption Initiative and senior executives from Citi.

The solutions presented span across eight pillars that address the integrity pain points faced by organisations today. T4I also provides the support and infrastructure for tech innovators to tailor new technology solutions for the market.

CashShield would like to take the opportunity to congratulate London-based iProov for winning the main T4I award for its face-matching technology.
